I’m delighted to announce the a 5-day intensive workshop in Martin & De Haas Breathing Coordination. This will be only the third workshop of it’s kind to be taught in the United States.
We have very limited space (10 maximum to maintain the quality of the training), and we have more than that who have expressed strong interest to fill those slots. If you’d like to learn more about it or are interested in possibly taking the workshop, please contact me. I’m piecing the group together carefully to make sure it’s an amazing group and that everyone has the optimal experience. To help give you an idea of whether you would be a good fit, of those who are confirmed already, all are high-level instructors, often with multiple areas of discipline including dance, voice and movement for the actor, etc.. They also have extensive professional resumes in theater, though that’s not required.
In Switzerland, my fellow students include prominent classical voice teachers, accomplished opera singers, a Pilates instructor, a physio-therapist, etc., and the come from all over Europe for the training. Obviously I come the farthest from L.A., but it’s been well worth the multiple trips. This time, it’s Robin and Lynn who will be making the long trek. Lynn resides in New York City where she teaches Functional Anatomy at NYU.
Please let me know soon if you’re interested by calling or texting 818-219-8226. The dates are February 10-14, 2017, 10 a.m. to roughly 6 p.m.. The fee is $1,000.
Robin posts the status (available, closed, waiting list) on www.breathingcoordination.ch.
